Allows my robot vacuum/mop to access the kitchen
I have a 2 inch difference between my kitchen and dining room. The transition that was there, previously, was too short and steep for my ecovacs vacuum robot. So I took it out and replaced it with this rubber threshold. Problem solved. It's wide enough with a slight slop the robot can easily maneuver. The only issue is that my tile floor was not cut properly so I have a gap. I plan on adding a floor transition to bridge the gap.It was hard to cut with a simple box cutter. Best you can do is try to go as deep as you can them fold it open to finish the rest. I only needed a 28 length so that worked for me, I was able to fold it. It has a series of grooves so expect dirt to collect in there. It's very heavy, so I did not need to glue it to the floor either. It stays in place.I am happy with the product, it serves its purpose, and now I can have my kitchen floor cleaned everyday! A good purchase.

It was hard to cut with a simple box cutter. Best you can do is try to go as deep as you can them fold it open to finish the rest.
