From the Author
The other reason for writing this series of books is to raise funds for inclusion programs and research. At least 25% of the profits are donated to inclusion non-profits and/or wounded soldier charities.
I hope you enjoy my books as much as I enjoyed writing them.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2016I am an author and have a mentally handicapped sister and I loved this book. Sam's character is so well written. Her difficulties, her attitude, and even her personality shine with a real understanding of Down's children. I hope every parent reads this book to their child to encourage understanding and acceptance. I hope every parent of a Down's child helps their child read this book. I hope Sean has great success and keeps writing. All that said, there was even a well written plot! C.M. Huddleston author of Greg's First and Second Adventures in Time
- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2014I teach 4th grade and also have a little boy who has Down syndrome. My son is to young to read this book but I can't wait until he can. I have asked some of my students to read this book and give me their feedback. They all have enjoyed the book. They liked how it was true to life, their life, as well as showed them what someone with DS may feel or think even if they can't verbalize it. They also liked the mystery aspect of the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2020Great story (We Spy), not only for DS kids, but for raising "can-do" awareness with other kids as well as adults. Sam is not coddled but her differences are also not ignored. Instead, the focus is on her abilities.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 20157th Grader Sam Heidleman lives a pretty normal life – when she’s not being bullied for her Down Syndrome. She volunteers, plays on the basketball team, and solves mysteries!
Don’t miss out on this episode where Sam’s instincts are put into high gear when she sees one of her friends being bullied and winds up in a huge mystery!
Hott Review:
We Spy is a terrific beginning to a series! I really enjoyed Sam and love how the family spends it’s time together and volunteering. It’s a great book for kids to see how important both of those things are.
This book is written for middle-graders that aren’t avid readers. There is a slower pace and more explanation than is needed for those that love reading. It’s perfect for my daughter who, though a middle-grader, prefers childrens books because they’re more inclined to explain important things and not include unnecessary details.
