- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2018Color: Stainless SteelSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseThis thing is a BEAST! I purchased this because I have no oven in my apartment and wanted the option to be able to cook and this toaster oven does NOT disappoint. So far everyone that has been over to my place has complimented on how awesome it looks. Then I cook them some bomb food and they love it.
The buttons are a little mushy and require a little more pressure then I find is necessary for a touch sensor button. Also the power cord is pretty short so make sure the outlet is close by or you'll need an extension cord. Two prong so no biggie.
I've noticed that the toasting option doesn't visibly display a countdown to let you know when it's done. I've tried different options and can't seem to get a counter going. It does display a shading number though starting at 4 and then automatically shuts off when it has that shade. I think it does it in terms of quarters. So 4 is pretty much whole thing toasted. 3 = 75%. Etc. I usually stick with 3 since 4 sometimes overcooks just a little.
Baking is a lot simpler. Set the temp, lights come on to tell you it's preheating. Lets out a chime when it's ready. From there it gives you an actual timer that you can feel free to set to your liking. Default is around 20 minutes or so. Just add or subtract however much you need. Lots of room in this behemoth. Doors stay open automatically once you've open the doors to their full swing. I saw another reviewer saying they shut on their own but that's not the case. Just open them up all the way and they'll stay open.
The clock seems to work fine. Have noticed other people saying they've had issues with theirs but mine seems to be okay and I've had it for a bit now. Will update should anything arise.
Overall, this thing is absolutely amazing.
UPDATE 10/20/2021
I'm noticing some other reviewers complaining about exploding doors and doors not staying open. I can comfortably say I've been using this toaster oven pretty much every day for 3 years and have not had a single problem with it. No exploding doors and the doors stay open as strong as they did 3 years ago. The only reason I can think of for the doors breaking is if you slam the doors shut or allow them to. If you repeatedly treat the toaster oven like it's your personal gimp, of course it's not gonna last. Just treat the oven well and it will last you as long as mine has.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2021Color: RedSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseBefore I even start the review, I would (even now) buy it again. We now often roast things where it seemed heating a standard oven would have been overkill (at least). My sister has always had a toaster oven, and now I know why. First, the shortcomings:
Temp setting: you can only jump in 25-degree increments. So I regularly have to kinda do oven math (if the temp is 15 degrees higher/lower than you want, how much longer/shorter should it cook?)
Basic functions: I am NOT a fan of the push button/pad interface. Often it takes repeated pressings of the pad/button to shut it off, raise temp, or add time. Like 3-4 presses to get an increment increase. I fully expect oft-used pads to wear out far too soon because of this. There are no other options for changing settings but up/down buttons/pads.
Temp: I have an oven thermometer in it, and it will beep (signaling it’s preheated) and the temp is about 25 degrees lower than I’ve set it. That’s not fatal for starting baked potatoes or quarter sheets of veggies - but it might be for your use. It eventually comes up to proper temp. (But never by the beep.) And front to back temps are different, so for tender stuff, turning your bakeware during cooking might be necessary.
Now the upside(s): countertop convenience, the doors (once fully opened) stay that way and open one-handed(!!!), a wonderful cheese melter feature (broiler), the removable bottom tray has some nonstick properties... most stuff scrubs off easily after some soaking, never though I’d like the “warm” feature but I do, and even with my complaints, I’m still VERY happy with the purchase. I started with a standard size and decided to go all in (larger) when I tired of balancing baking potatoes on the side of a tray of chicken nuggets and leaning against the oven walls (in the standard size). Lol. Now, a half sheet pan of roasting veggies on one rack, russets on the other, with a quarter sheet of some plant-based patty slid in at the right time so it’s done all at once. Yep, roasting bliss. Until you have to shut off the timer and you’re pressing tha dang button 4 times!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best purchase ever!
Color: RedSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseUPDATE JUNE 14, 2021: points of clarification for people considering this oven. I still love it.
1) Some people saying doors spring shut on them. You do have to ensure you open the doors fully. Not just to 90 degrees open but past that till they lock in.
2) the oven in bake and convection mode start out with 350 degrees and 30 minutes, but you can change both immediately.
3) In Bake and Convection mode you can set the timer for up to 90 minutes.
4) in Dehydrate mode you can set the timer for up to 6 hours.
5) the door design with the slight gap is in integral part of the design. You need it for the two doors to open and close together properly. You are not losing a lot of heat out this gap.
And 6) since Oster stopped producing this oven the detailed manual has disappeared off the internet.
—————————
Bought this as my old oven quite working. Sometime later my microwave physically broke apart, and the stove was down to 2 burners. Debated between this Oster oven and a new microwave. Decided on the Oster. It had just arrived when a neighbour gave me her slightly replaced self cleaning glass top range. The Oster does a better job than the large range. Faster, uses less electricity, and heats the kitchen up less than the big range. Cooks everything better while taking less time. Don't miss the microwave. If need soft butter just put the butter dish on a tray and put in warm oven for 5-10 minutes.
Big bonus this oven reheats pizza better than any other method: skillet, microwave or in the big range. Couple pieces on a pizza tray, heated 250 degrees for 20 minutes = gooey toasted cheese and a truly crispy crust. And it tastes like the fresh pizza, not that cooked in oil flavour you get from other methods. Really glad I bought it.

5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful design
Color: Black StainlessSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseI needed to replace my old Toastmaster simply because I couldn't clean it properly any more. I've been looking for another toaster oven/convection for a long time that has a door that opens sideways. The french doors on this are great except there's a small gap between them. It looks beautiful and professional, and it's working perfectly. It's got a large capacity interior and is super easy to use. I roasted a prime rib roast from frozen with the convection option and it took half the time as it would have in my regular oven. I love it. It takes up a lot of counter space, but it's worth it.
